Antamivi (αντάμειψη — Greek for reward) is the Bank of Cyprus loyalty programme. Here is an honest assessment.

How It Works

You earn Antamivi points on credit and debit card spending — approximately 1 point per €1 spent on the Classic tier, with higher rates on premium cards. Points can be redeemed for discounts at partner merchants, travel rewards, products, and charitable donations.

What Are the Points Worth?

Cash-equivalent redemptions typically yield approximately 0.5–1% back — modest but real. The value is better if you redeem at specific partner merchants where the rate is higher.

Is It Worth It?

For existing BOC customers: Yes, marginally. Enrolling is free and earns passive value on spending you’d make anyway. No reason not to.

As a reason to choose BOC over other cards: No. The earn rate doesn’t justify choosing BOC over a 0% FX fintech card for everyday spending, or over the Alpha Bank Bonus Visa which converts to more valuable Aegean miles.

The Bottom Line

Antamivi is a basic loyalty scheme — better than nothing, not a compelling differentiator. The reasons to get a BOC credit card are: cheapest annual fee (€8.50/year) and building local credit history. Antamivi is a bonus, not the deciding factor.
